Paramount Event (Door Security) Limited was established in 2004 by managing director Tony Grierson along with the skills, expertise and experience of his brother Mike Grierson, a security consultant in Carlisle. Working along side each other, they made Paramount Event the sucessful company it is today.
Paramount is office based in Carlisle, Cumbria but provide security for all of Cumbria, North Lancaster and Southern Scotland. We are looking to expand further in the near future.
Prior to Paramount Mike worked as a “Bouncer” in 1983 working his way up to “Head Doorman” at a premier Club. With Carlisle’s pub and club scene expanding, Mike being a professional and his experience then was approached by many licensees, pub and club owners to provide security services for them.
Paramount then started supplying bouncers to pubs and clubs. In 2004 just as Paramount was expanding the SIA (Security industry Authority) made it law for each bouncer to be SIA licensed. This made security allot safer turning “bouncers” into Door Supervisors. Paramount only employs licensed Door Supervisors.
